Can Christians be possessed by demons?

No born-again Christian can be possessed only demonized, when doors have been opened (through sin) for them to enter.  As we have been bought with the blood of Jesus, and filled with the Holy Spirit who seals us, preventing demon possession.

What is Demon possession?

Demons take total control over a person’s life, when they are not born again, not filled with the Holy Spirit, involvement in any occult activities, and harboring negative feelings.

What is Demonization?

It is demons operating in a person to influence their lives, actions, thoughts, emotions, intellect etc. placing them in bondage by disobedience to Gods word, give the enemy legal right.

How do demons gain “legal right” to torment a person?

Demons have legal right, through doors that are opened, through unconfessed habitual sins, forefathers’ sins and iniquities which have never been repented of and cleansed by the blood of Jesus. Harbouring negative feelings, e.g. unforgiveness, bitterness, jealousy, hatred, anger, and sins like sexual sin, pornography etc.  Any ungodly covenants, blood covenants, curses, witchcraft, satanic and occultic participation, also opens doors to the demonic forces, which torment the person.

Gal 5:17-21 (NKJ) ¹⁷ For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. ¹⁸ But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. ¹⁹ Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, ²⁰ idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, ²¹ envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Why is Porn wrong – It spices up my marriage and sex life?

The Bible says:
• 1 Cor 6:18 (Amp) ¹⁸ Run away from sexual immorality [in any form, whether thought or behavior, whether visual or written]. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the one who is sexually immoral sins against his own body.

• 1 Cor 6:9-10 (NKJ) ⁹ Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, ¹⁰ nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

• Eph 5:3-5 (The amplified topical reference bible) ³ But immorality (sexual vice) and all impurity (of lustful, rich, wasteful living) or greediness must not even be named among you, as is fitting and proper among saints (God’s consecrated people). ⁴ Let there be no filthiness (obscenity, indecency) nor foolish and sinful (silly and corrupt) talk, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting or becoming, but instead voice your thankfulness (to God). ⁵ For be sure of this: that no person practicing sexual vice or impurity in thought or in life, or one who is covetous (who has lustful desire for the property of others and is greedy for gain) – for he (in effect) is an idolater – has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

• Heb. 13:4 (The amplified topical reference bible) ⁴ Let marriage be held in honor (esteemed worthy, precious, of great price, and especially dear) in all things. And thus let the marriage bed be undefiled (kept dishonored), for God will judge and punish the unchaste (all guilty of sexual vice) and adulterous.

According to the teachings of the Bible, pornography is unequivocally categorized as a form of sexual sin. Research has revealed that even a brief exposure of three and a half minutes to pornography can rewire the brain, creating polluted neural pathways.
